Resolution Round Up 2016

At the beginning of each year, I like to set some goals for my writing.  So it’s time to look back at what I wanted to accomplish this 2016.

  1.  Deceiving the Bandit Lord:  Although first on my list, this is the last thing to get touched.  Book 2 in my Wylderland Chronicles is in self edits.  I’m almost done but not there yet.  Once done this will go to my beta readers for feedback, another quick pass of edits, then to my publisher.  I can’t believe how much I’ve learned as a writer since this 2012 NaNoWriMo Winner.  So much re-writing!  Maybe that’s why this had taken so long?
  2. Star-Crossed:  The Reflections of Love Anthology released in October and it’s a FREE anthology of 3 fantasy romance short stories.  If you haven’t one clicked a copy, do so quickly, it’s going to flip to a paid anthology in mid January.  A paperback version is available too!
  3. Besotted:  As predicted, this novella was an easier edit and released in late Autumn.  It’s the 3rd story in my Chaos Factor series and early reviews are promising.  It’s available in ebook and paperback, audio coming soon.  FYI, the paperback (and audio) has the first 2 short stories in the series Un/Requited.  It’s a three-fer!

So, no bad.  Didn’t quite get everything done that I wanted but so-freakin’-close.  Deceiving the Bandit Lord will roll over, of course, but you’ll have to stay tuned to find out what I have planned in 2017.  How did you do on your 2016 goals?
