Please tell us a bit about yourself: I’m a girl who writes scifi and the supernatural, a devoted Whovian and Scaper. Mum to three red haired monsters, and living happily in the historical town of Colchester.

What genres do you write and why?: Pretty much anything in the speculative fiction genre, with or without romance, but my first love is scifi.

Where do you find inspiration?: Everywhere! Honestly, it can be anything or everything. If I’m working to a particular theme or sub call, I’ll look through stock image sites or watch a DVD for something to spark a story off. Just recently I got the idea for another story from a friend simply misspelling zombie.

Best advice ever received?: Never give up—never surrender!

Coffee, tea or wine?: Coffee. Without question, and the stronger the better.

What is your favorite book(s) or author(s)?: I’m a big fan of Jaine Fenn.

Upcoming news and plans for the future?: Where do I start?! Okay, YA paranormal Restless In Peaceville releasing 20^th August, a paranormal romance short releasing in October, and a superhero romance—When Dark Falls—releasing hopefully in November. I’ll also be re-releasing my scifi romance Keir before the end of the year, and I’m working on a futuristic UF short with an angel, and a YA post-apocalyptic zombie short.
