I am still here. I have been waiting to hear from the first volley of publishers I submitted my novel to. This round will be the longest as I chose those to submit to based on how long it would take to hear back. They were also larger publishing companies, coincidentally.
In the meantime, I am working through a free writing course offered by Holly Lisle from her site http://www.howtothinksideways.com on how to write flash fiction. I figured I could use a challenge and having more material on my portfolio is not a bad thing. Just not sure what I will do with them…
I am also looking forward to November and participating in NaNoWriMo. I already know the basics of my story. Super heroes anyone? We shall see how much writing I can get done with everything that’s going on. I hope for a peaceful autumn. 🙂
